Bruce Claflin
Vice President

Bruce  Claflin  is a Senior Partner in the CAL Financial Group. Bruce works to attract and develop top talent to the Small Business transfer market for CAL Financial Group. With 25 years of financial planning experience,  Bruce  focuses  on  Financial  Planners  and Wealth Advisors  with the critical eye for detail that is required to act as a business intermediary.  Bruce  actively  coaches  professionals in the areas of estate planning and advanced strategies for the small business owner. Prior to joining CAL Financial Group, Bruce helped launch, grow, and subsequently sell three regional financial services companies and represented two other global financial firms.

Bruce is also President of Coldwater Consulting, a Minnesota based LLC serving clients in the upper Midwest and Great Lakes area. Coldwater Consulting specializes in distribution building, sales development and productivity enhancement. In conjunction with CAL Financial Group, Coldwater Consulting provides support in the areas of business acquisition and divestiture, and business valuation.

Rich Bevelhimer
Vice President

Rich Bevelhimer has worked in the financial services industry since 1983. He has a rare combination of corporate and field experience – holding high-level executive positions, as well as, wholesaling, sales management and personal production.

After gaining his CPA designation while working at Golden Rule Insurance, Rich moved to Conseco for 11 years. During that period, he worked in various capacities, including: financial reporting manager, AVP of Marketing, VP of Annuity Marketing, and VP of Strategic Marketing. He also earned an MBA from Butler University. Rich also developed a retail operaton creating an annuity marketing organization and a personal book of business.

As Senior Vice President of Allstate Financial Services, Rich was responsible for sales, marketing, and compliance for all financial products in a nine state region including 600 agents. Production increased over 200% in the first 13 months.

More recently, Mr. Bevelhimer was the Divisional Vice President for Questar Capital Corporation. He was responsible for all aspects of field operations in the western U.S., including marketing, sales, sales training, and sales supervision for this large broker-dealer.
